Terms of Service

The contract between you and Lifecycle Innovations Limited for the use of Messo.

1. The service

Messo (the “service”) is operated by Lifecycle Innovations Limited (Hong Kong, BR# 76545088) (“we”, “us”). Messo provides an AI assistant that connects to your WhatsApp account and replies to incoming messages on your behalf, with optional human escalation.

2. WhatsApp connection disclosure

Important. Messo connects to WhatsApp using the WhatsApp multi-device protocol. This protocol is widely used but is not formally sanctioned by WhatsApp/Meta for automated replies on personal WhatsApp accounts. WhatsApp may suspend or ban accounts flagged as automated, even where Messo is used in good faith. By using Messo, you accept this risk.

We strongly recommend subscribing to Meta Verified for Business to reduce the risk of suspension, and keeping the AI's escalation threshold high during your first weeks.

3. Trial, payment, refunds

  • 14-day free trial on every plan. No card required to start.
  • After trial, you are billed monthly or annually on the plan you choose. EU VAT is added at checkout via Stripe Tax.
  • Monthly plans are non-refundable for the current billing period.
  • Annual plans are refunded on a prorated basis for the unused months on cancellation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Messo to:

  • Send spam, scams, or unlawful content
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person
  • Process special-category personal data without lawful basis
  • Send marketing broadcasts or mass messages
  • Violate WhatsApp's commerce or business policies

We may suspend the service immediately for violations.

5. Termination

Cancel anytime from the Settings page; service continues until the end of the current billing cycle. We may terminate for cause (acceptable use violations, non-payment, fraud) without refund.

6. Liability

Messo is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for any WhatsApp suspension, lost messages, lost bookings, or consequential losses.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply notwithstanding this clause.

8. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email or in-app banner. Material changes give you the right to cancel before they take effect.
